Studio Selah is an artisanal carpentry, joinery and fine furniture business located on Gadigal Country in the vibrant heart of Marrickville in Sydney’s inner west.

 

With a mindful and considered approach to our works and the environment, we draw a lot of inspiration from the word “Selah”. An ancient word of Aramaic origin that can be translated to mean: to take a moment, to pause, to reflect, to appreciate, and to acknowledge.
 

It is with this philosophy of "Selah" that we create our works: from the ideation stage of working with clients through to the finishes we use on each piece.

Ensuring we use sustainable timber that is either reclaimed, part of ethically managed forestry or of invasive species. We then pair this with the most natural finishes we can use and with this we strive to have as minimal impact on the planet as possible.

We love to work with clients on custom pieces, whether bringing their ideas to life, or working with them to design and create a piece that will last many lifetimes!
